On March 24th, about two months after the Women’s March, thousands returned to Downtown Columbus to rally and march in support of gun control. Alongside the national March for Our Lives in Washington D.C., Columbus and many other U.S. cities held marches. The March For Our Lives was largely a student-led demonstration, propelled by the surviving students of the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. The event began with a rally at West Bank Park, featuring speakers and musical acts, and was followed by a march to the Columbus Statehouse.
